About
Themis Barbecue House

Rahul and Sumit Dabas are celebrated as two of the nation's most promising and youthful restaurateurs. They have earned their reputation through the creation of Themis Barbecue House, one of Delhi's most renowned destinations for barbecue dining. With their origins firmly rooted in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), the Dabas brothers recognized the demand for a high-quality dining experience that rivaled the elegance of fine dining establishments while maintaining an inviting ambience.

Founder Journey:

Sumit is regarded as one of the youngest and brightest restaurateurs in the country, and is the brains behind one of Delhi’s most popular, pocket-friendly, yet luxurious barbecue dining experiences, the Themis Barbecue House. Having his roots based in Delhi NCR, Sumit understood the necessity and requirement of bringing a high-quality experience usually associated with fine dining and a luxurious atmosphere. Thus was born Themis Barbecue House, which provides a unique and classy experience of Barbecue dining to the guests, while still being pocket friendly and covering every aspect of this ever-changing society.
After the humongous success of Themis Barbecue House, Sumit decided to stretch his business boundaries even further with a vision of bringing people closer to their roots by opening an ethnic resort in Sanpla (near Bahadurgarh) by the name of Themis Mudhouse House – An Ethnic Resort & Spa in the year 2018. The Themis Mudhouse resort can be termed as an ethnic and rustic-themed luxurious resort, specially designed in a way which maintains its focus on India's roots of simple yet high-quality living standards by providing unmatched facilities, amalgamating the best of Vintage and Modern worlds! Themis Mudhouse resort aims to be a one-stop getaway destination for the people of Delhi/NCR, that would reintroduce its audience to the roots of India in all its glory - the simplicity of village life, combined with modern living, culminating into a luxurious environment which appeals to everyone's imagination alike. Similarly going on the tracks of the Themis Mudhouse in Sanpla, the Themis Mudhouse in Rohtak is also coming soon with state-of-the-art facilities, designed to indulge the guests in every way possible and yet give them the true feeling of the rustic and eco-friendly environment of the resort.

As is rightly said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better”. Sumit has now added another feather to his illustrious cap by opening Themis Barbecue House in Panipat in 2020 and then in Karnal in 2021, and many more planned ahead. The inspiration behind Sumit's vision remains the same, to provide people with a remarkable and unforgettable experience combined with the best that luxury can offer. His message to the people is still the same, come, visit us while we pamper you and show you the real meaning of what hospitality feels like without burning a hole in your pockets, and that is what has made his vision so popular amongst the masses!

For those in search of a delectable yet reasonably priced barbecue feast, Themis Barbecue House is a must-visit. In a parallel endeavour, the Dabas brothers are set to introduce a new Themis Barbecue House outlet in Ambience Mall, Gurugram, in 2024, with several other locations in the pipeline. The success of Themis Barbecue House emboldened them to broaden their horizons further. Their vision extended to reconnecting people with their roots, leading to the creation of Themis Mudhouse – An Ethnic Resort & Cultural Dining in Sampla (near Bahadurgarh) in 2018, followed by Themis Mudhouse - A Nature's Retreat Resort & Wellness in Singhpura, Rohtak in 2022. Themis Mudhouse Singhpura, a boutique resort in Haryana, seamlessly blends modern comforts with a tranquil environment, boasting private plunge pools, balconies, and rooftop seating in every villa.

In 2023, the Themis group's dream project, Themis Greek House, came to life. Spanning 30,000 square feet, this property is envisioned as a culinary haven along the highway, offering a diverse range of world cuisines within a captivating bespoke interior that transports visitors to romantic Greco-Latin getaways. The photogenic property exudes the allure of a foreign destination. Adding to their impressive portfolio, Hermis by Themis, a club within the Lemon Tree Hotel in Gurugram, is set to launch in 2024. Throughout their journey, Rahul and Sumit's core objective has remained unwavering: to deliver an unforgettable, luxurious experience that doesn't break the bank. Their invitation to the public is simple—come and visit, and allow them to pamper you, revealing the essence of genuine hospitality. This commitment to excellence has endeared them to a wide audience.

Thus, Themis Barbecue House was conceived. Over time, Themis Barbecue House expanded to encompass new locations in Panipat (2020), Karnal (2021), and Ambala (2023). Each branch upholds the same standards and immersive experience that catapulted Themis Barbecue House to fame in Delhi. While Themis Barbecue House Karnal is temporarily closed, it will soon be reopening, but in the interim, guests can explore the Panipat and Ambala branches.
